KIDWARE- Use Electronic Builder to make bar charts, then go to KIDWARE Writer and write your report.

Offer many ways for children to express their understandings of mathematical concepts. Encourage open-ended exploration
that permits children to create, construct and solve their own mathematical problems through various means such as conversation,
drawing, and writing.
Build on young children's interests.  Choose topics that reflect their experience and background.  As children mature, they move from a more concrete to a more abstract understanding of the world.  Children learn that symbols can take the place of actual objects or pictures of objects.

Integrate math concepts into other curriculum areas.  Provide active hands-on exploration with numbers and number concepts throughout daily experiences.   This ensures the development of thorough understanding and makes math meaningful.   Mathematics is a tool, too.
